Hybrid application acceptance?

Hi,

I am creating a hybrid application in iphone which uses an external website created by us. This website does not use the WebKit and is written in another platfrom. the iphone application uses the website to perform search and other functions and shows the output it the UIWebview.

The pages have been formatted to reflect iphone web application styles.

Will this application be accepted by apple ? has anyone come across any issues implementing a hybrid application which get rejected by apple?

There is a chance of rejection with every app submitted, but by far I think most apps are accepted with no issues, and there are plenty of apps that use UIWebViews, so as long as you are following all the rules you will probably be fine.
