Lock to an App, possible ?

Hi,

With the intention to made an Application, which will be used by tourist in a tourism office on an fixed iPhone (maybe later an iPad) , and in order to prevent people from playing with the device, I would like to know, is there a way you can lock down an application so that it can't be quit.

I know this is not allowed by Apple's rejection policy, but considering the context of the application (the iPhone/iPad will be for public use and only for this application use), there is not any bypass possible to made this and have an approved application ?

can't be done through software i'm afraid. the home button will always quite the app. i'm not sure if this is true of a jailbroken device.

You can put the device in a locked case which hides the home button, so people can't push the home button
If the app will be installed on less than 100 devices there is no need to have it approved by Apple. Just use ad-hoc distribution.
