That's actually pretty amazing and really noce to know -- that they're back up to speed
Heh, um what? haha, no I mean that's great that some people are getting the royal treatment, or luck of the draw, but they are definitely NOT up to speed on average.
I had 2 updates and 1 new app approved over the weekend (all three from June 22nd), so I am up to date and it does look like they got through a lot of backlog before and during the holiday.... Though I just submitted 1 new app and 1 update that had been waiting for the others to get done... so we'll see if it's any better now. :-)
Send them an email, and they sent me a boiler plate reply.
Bottom line...Don't bother us. We'll get to it when we can.
yeh i got the 'unforeseen delay' email a couple of days after submitting.. looks like someone tested it at around 9pm uk time friday night, so something might be bubbling!
Just has two apps approved over a 3 days waiting period. Still have other waiting approval and updates, for some reason these two, submitted last Friday were pushed ahead. Nothing amazing about them, I guess they are pulling in a bit more money than the others.
For me it seems approvals are taking longer then ever.
I submitted a update to one of my apps at the beginning of June and it took 18 or 19 days to get approved. Then submitted a new update to that app on June 24th it got approved July 5th.
Normally it was just taking 7 days to get an approval every time. I submitted a new update today so hopefully it takes just 7 days this time or less.
Submitted as new app (version 1.0) on June 16
Received "requiring additional extra time for review" email on June 19.
Went on sale July 6 (21 days)
Interestingly enough, the app was never tested. I provided them a username/password to log into our web site. We log the connection time and IP, and that test user was never used. So either they never tested or they actually took the time to create their own account. (OR they just launched it, looked at the login page and quit.)
This is the "appstore wait thread", please don't request specific application feedback be posted here.
He's got to be kidding surely? Check the app out.
BTW Probably took so long to review because he didn't provide a valid website or support link. Not exactly professional and in my opinion Apple should not allow apps without some sort of valid site/support link.

Based on what you posted, I checked it out.
Well...its not my taste in apps.
Enough said.
Still waiting for approval on my update submitted June 14. I am now on day 23 as I type this.
Come on Apple, admit it...one of your servers crashed on or about June 14...taking down a bunch of apps. The boiler plate crap replies to my emails are patronizing at best. Looks like I will have to kill the binary and resubmit.
If Apple would at least give out some info, I can then decide what to do. But to leave me and others in "review limbo" just is not right.
