Weird! Two apps which had had 3 updates before this one took 7 days each. Sitting at 11 days now. Nothing but minor changes. Why would these updates take 11 days and other never more than 7??
Hi! I submitted v1.1 update of my app WalletWhiz last June 4. In short, it's a budgeting calendar. While waiting for approval for the update, here are some promo codes for my fellow devs:
J4FT76MYM636
MTYHNHPJFH7J
TL4X47AAWEJ7
Please let me know what you think. If you encounter any issues, please note that v1.1 includes UI tweaks, various bug fixes & memory usage optimization.
Thanks!
I submitted my app on the 29th and am still awaiting approval. x=( Besides the first app i submitted almost 3 months ago (which took about 2 weeks), the rest of my apps and updates have been pretty good to stick to about 1 week, kind of sad this one is taking so long..
Unique idea... I took A3RA6NLKMLR9 and will post a favorable review. Would you do the same for me? I'll PM you a promo code.
Sounds good! If anyone else wants to review exchange let me know! We all need to promote our apps as best as possible when they're new, this works to help all of us...

Would love to do this with my app My Blacklist. Here's some promo codes, please reply if you take one.

I'm in the same boat, I wonder if it has anything to do with the 3.0 launch - slowing things down or postponing things?
Looks like the turnaround time is trending back to 7 days-ish?
Btw I think once your app is assigned to a particular app reviewer, it stays with him or her for the lifetime of the app. I think my app got assigned to a particularly picky reviewer who's been dinging me on minor little UI/usability issues that I would not have considered showstoppers. Pushing out updates and new features is going to hurt pretty bad for this one app. Sigh.

No I don't think so as the review process for my updates is inconsistent. Last update they wanted to hide and option that wouldn't want on an iPod Touch. Have updated since and left this option in and no request to remove it.
Just received my first ever "this app requires additional reviewing time" message after 3 days...that's fine by me if they complete the review in the normal 7 days.
if that's the case, this reviewer is incredibly slow or on vacation.. 12 days and counting...
I'm at 13 days and I'm rather surprised by that. One thing I did differently this time was add a french version to the game (localization). I wonder if they are actually checking out the french translation and hence that will add to my time?
No letter on my end stating anything either. Is there even a way to submit a query to make sure the app didn't get lost in the process?

I'm sure you could send them an email but you probably won't get a reply. I haven't heard good things on Apple responding to emails. The first time I ever submitted an app took just over 2 weeks, so I haven't hit that mark yet.. but it's still frustrating..
Last month I had 3 days for an update approval. Right now I'm sitting on day 13 for another update of that same app. No "taking longer email than expected" email yet either.
