I think there was something going on on the 23rd because I got approved and didn't get an email either

I submitted my app The Sylvan Archives on monday (4/19). I've been checking all the time with no luck. This is my first app ever. Actually, its the first thing I've ever programmed. So I'm very anxious.

it takes on average about 7 days so don't expect it to be much faster

I can't help it though, over 400 hours of working on this and I'm at the end of the road. I just wish apple would reveal the review queue so at least I see something other then "In Review"
New app approved after more than a week. No notification email either. The email will probably show up in a day or two.
It's been 3 days since my app was approved, I still haven't received a peep from Apple, but sold 95 copies in the first 2 days which has made me very happy.
I was just now reading this thread to see if anyone else has had this not receiving an email issue. I've had several apps updated and another one released by Apple with no notification email. I was just looking at appshopper.com and noticed my app on there and said WTF? Grrrrrr.
Submitted April 19. I checked iTunes connect last night (April 25) around 11:00pm and my app, Hip Hop Producer, was Ready for Sale. I marked the release date as April 26 and this morning it shows up on the new releases for Entertainment. As of this morning I still haven't received any notice from Apple. Also, if you're interested, I posted some promo codes in the Promotion forum:
iScore Baseball update "Ready for Sale" in itunesconnect today - no emails. 10 days after submission on the 16th. Not appearing in App Store / iTunes yet, but if you do purchase, it does download the update. I find that interesting... maybe Apple's servers are immediately updated with the newest binaries when "Ready for Sale" is set, but it takes a while to update the iTunes and App Store front ends.
I submitted an update for one of my apps on March 23rd, the only update I've ever submitted, and it's still In Review. How responsive are they when you use "Contact Us" in iTunes Connect?
Does anyone know if re-submitting a binary, changing your application meta data or changing other options lengthens your app approval turn-around? Will it get done in the same amount of time as long as they haven't started working on it or is there a "go to the back of the line" methodology being employed?

I wouldn't think changing metadata affects the review process, but re-submitting the binary most certainly does. from an email from apple

Please note, If a binary is self rejected and resubmitted, the application review process is reset and starts from the beginning.
