I just submitted an application this morning,
If I reject my own application and resubmit it do I need to change it to
1.1
I made some major change.
but this was a new application to begin with
You don't need to change it. Just resubmit as v 1.0 and everything will be fine.
As long as they are close, it should be fine... our app "Simon Has Gas" is called that in itunesconnect, but in the Info.plist, we called it "Simon's Gas" so it fits on the phone under the icon without ellipses.
Still waiting on my 'Setup Complete' for my contracts, 2 apps already approved for over two weeks now.
Seriously, this AppStore is way below Apple standards. This is just horrible, the inconsistency and terrible management of it all. What is so hard about have a data entry team review the bank details and such?

I feel your pain, we were just there. Surprisingly, the contract phase took only 4 days and the App review process was 6 days. We started the process March 17th and now iQuarterback is up for sale.

How did you feel the pain when it only took you 4 days?
FuzzyQB, I *feel* for your pain. Took me 3 months.
I've been on the wait bandwagon for a bit again now since my update got rejected and I re-submitted...
Has anyone who submitted an app or update on 3/18/09 or after that date (last Wednesday) gotten accepted yet? I'm wondering if today might be my magic day

Nope. Seven days is the number these days. Until 10 days ago it used to be 4 days.
Kind of what I've been noticing. Man, I loved the 4 day turnaround! I was able to put out an update that would appear in time for the weekend, take feedback from it, and get another update ready to submit Monday!
So nobody else has had an approval from 3/18/09 submissions then?
Maybe a small ray of hope the update fairy is coming tonight for several of us

Submitted update containing bug fix and etc on Sunday night, hoping for it to be approved by Thursday. IF not, then Friday since that's how it worked last week for a separate app.

Finally, finally got approved! Submitted my app, AutoWeb, on Feb 15th, Finally got approved yesterday night, March 23rd.
I thought it might take a bit longer than other apps to approve because it performs scripting/recording of web site actions including logging on, but the absence of any sort of feedback, status change, or response to inquiries was a tad frustrating after seeing most everyone else get approved in 4-7 days.
Anyway, for those interested in an app that takes over a month to approve, check it out here.
And yes...I realized about 2 weeks after submit about the website of the same name. Ohwell, hopefully the tape recorder icon is enough to avoid any confusion with cars. Just didn't want to jeopardize any further wait time by doing any sort of tweaking with the application entry.
Ninja Buddy got approved last night after 7 days in review...though it is STILL not appearing on the release date listings (17 hours....come on apple).
Submitted an UPDATE to an app on March 17th. Got notification this morning that I misused a DetailDisclosure button (though they approved the previous version of the App with the exact same use). So 7 days to be told I misused a button. Submitted an update on itunesconnect within 30 minutes of the email from Apple... am I now back at the end of the approval queue? Another 7 days?

Just went and check it and actually i send it on the 17th 3PM GMT
Thanks for the response, even if yesterday wasn't my lucky day... I feel good about today though, it should mean that most apps and updates submitted back on 3/18 are getting pushed today
If I get a second rejection (for something else- I fixed their last issue) It's going to be time to jump off a bridge! People have been beating down my door waiting on this update

I submitted my first App on Monday 3/23. So hopefully, by the the 30th it will be approved. I'll update if/when that happens.
I'm still waiting on the contracts to be 100% approved, though. It was last Wednesday, I think, that I finally got accepted into the Dev Program itself - and I immediately setup the banking info, etc.

Can you provide some more specifics as to what you did that they didn't approve of? I'm curious just so I don't make the same mistake.
Submitted a free and a paid version of an app on Monday (March 23rd). On day 3 of the waiting game.
Does anyone have any experience with submitting a free/paid version at the same time? Do the reviewers try to do them together or are they going to come out at completely different times?

Since the DetailDisclosure is a nice pretty little arrow, I used it to return from an info screen back to the main menu of a game. It looked nice because things slid in the direction of the arrow. They said DetailDisclosure is only to be used to disclose MORE information, not to return to something you were previously at.
Silly... but I guess it is my own fault for not following the guidelines for built in controls.
