no joy...its been over three weeks since I submitted my banking information.
Anyone know how I can get the bank stuff thru!!!!11!!1!
You could do a search on Pending Contract and come up with a lot of different numbers for how long it would take - I would probably be one of those replying to that...
Pending Contract-time will vary depending on the alignment of the stars, your location in universe and I guess the amount of contracts that has to be approved... I got my first app approved while in pending contract-limbo and it took several weeks to get the contract approved after the app was approved (I think all in all around 7 weeks for the contracts - submitted the app when I had been waiting for a month or so, and counting from the day I applied to the program the proccess in whole took several months, somewhere around 3 or 4 months I think including the contract wait).
Not saying you will have to wait a week or two (or three) before your app hits the store - just saying that's what I had to do. And the sweet thing about it is that your app will have the release-date set to when it was approved rather than the date when your contract finally gets thru the needles eye. So, you better prepare yourself for that - you will not end up on the front page but rather a couple to a dozen pages down.
My recommendation would be for you to start working on an update, improve and add features and as soon as your app is live, submitting that update and look at that new version as your first and actual introduction on the store...
I have a simple app that has been a review for over 8 weeks .. I called the ADP and all they say is that it's in review and that's all we can tell you. I don't understand how long do I have to wait and why won't they tell me why it's taking so long.
I see that other peoples are getting review after and ready for sale way before mine. I see apple or the review team doesn't really care.
Maybe your app is borderline, for example it may come close to duplicating functionality that Apple will be adding, OR it may violate their contract with AT&T (for example, a VOIP app wont be approved because people can use WIFI to make free calls).
I got rejected for similar "language." My app is all UGC, so it's bound to happen. I built a keyword filter and replaced all possible offending words with [...]
I'm hoping this satisfies App Store requirements. Anyone have any experience with this?

They are pretty fast those days in reviewing, I guess average is like 5 days now.

I wish it was that easy but it's very simple app that doesn't do much but touch the screen.. all I got was the email about the review taking longer than expected ..

Well thank the dudes who release 500 auto dialer apps per day, they clog up the approval process and Apple is stupid enough to let them
That means its only for sale in the USA, no other country!
No it doesn't - that's the default country... If you selected worldwide distribution and have no localized appstore descriptions that's what it looks like when your in the review-tab and your selling it world wide...
If you have localized descriptions you need to choose those countries in the popup to review those separatly.
It's been about 27 hours and my app's update has just started showing in all of its relevant New Release categories. As of the morning it was only in Games/Puzzle, and missing from Games/Action and Games/All. When I left for work it was still completely absent from iTunes, and only showed in Games/Puzzle on the device.
It seems like things may be resolved now, but it worked out pretty poorly for me considering my game is new and I'm trying to get some exposure.

My bad, I was thinking of the distribution model and not who needs to check localization.
Both of my new applications are ready to go, but cant because of the contracts not getting completed now, I just got notice that my second app is ready to go....but not for sale
Well this gives me time to code up a online high scores and add it into the games......I have another application in the works as well, that should be done by the middle of the month....I hope apple gets to the contract soon.
I'm starting to get really annoyed. It's been almost 3 weeks since i submitted a new app and i have not seen a word from Apple. I see everyone else getting approved in about 6 days. Here I am just waiting. It's becoming very frustrating... Anyone else in this same boat?

I'm on a slower boat. Submitted November 17th still waiting. I also submitted a Weapon app which would have been the first one by far on the store submitted in August and I just got an email 2 days ago saying an error has occured. Im not very happy.
what makes me most upset is that my lite edition was approved in 2 days. The lite edition i posted two days after my full version... But problem is my lite edition doesn't make me any money. That makes no sense to me.
By the way -- I believe they outsource their testing. These testers are following guidelines in place by Apple. I don't think these testers are actual Apple employees. I believe your app may get stuck somewhere in the middle when something needs some kind of look over by Apple themselves. Thats why you can re-submit and take another shot at getting a different tester.
I received an email marked 1:58AM the senders time and i had received it at 6:58PM PST... Also if anyone tracks their web logs, if your app uses your web server in someway, I noticed that a certain company went to my site before i got my approval on one of my apps. It's an outsourcing company in the UK...
Happy to report a fairly quick turnaround on my update. Version 1.2 of Rogue Touch was approved about an hour ago. Still shows "in review" in iTunes Connect at the moment, but I'm impressed. Just about 3 days on the nose...

My app "Binary Game" just got it's first update approved.
Version 1.1 now available. I submitted to Apple on Monday 3/2 around 11pm Pacific Time, and I got the approval email about 6PM Pacific on Thursday.
About 1/2 the time it took to get the original version approved.. - I ran into the same issue where iTunesConnect said "In Review" for about 2 hours after I received the email. The app still has not shown up as a new release in it's respective categories..

Yuck, I just got a chance to check mine! The actual RT page shows it as version 1.2 released March 5th, but in the Adventure and RPG categories I show a release way back on March 2nd! Darn it Apple, why does your database do this kind of stuff!! It's very frustrating when that little boost in listings is all we have to look forward too

Curious as what they said in the email? Wondering if my app has fallen in to the same hole. Could you pm or post a snippet of the email
Thanks
