They seem to be averaging 4-6 days for new apps and updates now. Pretty good review times IMO. Good job Apple.
My experience so far is based on 2 rejected apps, 2 approved games, and 2 updates for those approved games. Plus from another dev I know who is going through similar experiences.
(I feel for you guys who are still waiting more than a week/month)
Funny... me too. Submitted 24th, rejected for the same reason today. Took about 3 seconds to fix. Re-uploaded. Now, lets see how long it takes this time. I have been averaging 48 business hours.

Thank you for your e-mail. Contract setup can take several weeks due to the number of setups in process. However, if you have an approved app waiting to go live, your contract setup will be prioritized to get your app in the App Store as quickly as possible.
I've completed my contract, tax and bank documents since Dec 25. Also have app approved around a week later. Got that reply mail about my contract process should be prioritized cuz I have ready-to-launch app waiting. Mail them again after two weeks and they told me that my contract should be completed by Jan 26.
Well, Jan 26 has passed. Still waiting. Already mail them again. No response yet. Wish me luck.
I saw that activity originated from Cupertino on my server...from my app.. but yet still no approval and no change in status. I hope it gets approved.. strange that they would test it and then nothing.. hmm... any thoughts?
First request from Cupertino was at about 4:30PM PST.. Did they leave for the day and then approval today?! I hope so
I submitted my app on 22nd Jan and it got reject on the 24th for a table view issue. The row stayed highlighted.
Resubmitted corrected binary on the 25th and am still waiting...
Thats now three people on this page of the forum topic who've had their apps rejected for table view issues. Maybe we all got the example table view code from the same place :-)
That is not true. I design the Table view from IB. And I can guarantee you that by default, the Highlight row is stay on unless you manually clear it. And I don't see why we need to clear it from GUI design stand point. It's easy for the user to recognize the previous selection and will not reselect again.
I submitted an update to Tap Forms (version 1.6) 2 days ago. I got the email today that it was ready for sale and now it's live on the App Store! That's the best so far! Previously it would take 12 or more days. But one of my updates was submitted just before Christmas, so there was the slowdown at that time. But this is awesome. I hope all my updates go this quickly.
Well, the paid version of my new app has now been in the review process for a month. The first week was my fault, the past three weeks, well, I don't know. It's been "In Review" for three weeks. I submitted it again under a new name with "TM" after it and I got the dreaded "You app is taking extra time" email message. So, now I have no idea, at all, when I might hear anything or what the issue might be. At least the lite version, which is VERY similar, is in the App Store but people are asking about the paid version. so I'm probably losing potential sales every day. I feel lilke submitting an app that's called "PLEASE!! MY APPS ARE GETTING CAUGHT IN YOUR BLACK HOLE PROCESS v1.0"
If you want to take a look at "STAT E&M LITE" (link below) and see why this must be all my fault, feel free to do so.
hi i had submitted mine on Monday, two Apps, one Pro and one Free Version. Still waiting for Submission. But i am afraid, that they will reject because of this table View issue. I Also used the Table View in IB, how i can deselect the selection of the user?
I dont want to get rejected and then wait another 2 weeks.
If you have issue, then I suggest you to manually Reject it, fix and upload the new binary immediately (This will not reset your waiting queue.). The fix is simple, just call
[tableView deselectRowAtIndexPath:indexPath animated:NO];
at then end of didSelectRowAtIndexPath event handling.

5 days to accept
I posted two games (SmashWord and SmashWord Lite). They were submitted on 1/23 and were accepted 1/28. Unfortunately, I was not available to change the date to the 28th until the 29th. That seems like it would be a relatively minor thing for Apple to fix in their database! Oh well, at least they passed muster and are available!

We were very lucky: 4 days.
Update of iBeep:

STILL WAITING (ok, not many days)
As the app is now ranked 1st in Italy i thought it took 1 day for them to review! but i was wrong... as i understand, the revision queue doesn't care about the chart and the sales. (that is quite ridicolous, as we have thousand of clients of our app waiting for this update!)

STILL IN REVIEW (3 days)
I guess they don't work in the weekend, so will have to wait for other 2 days...
BUT:..
THE QUESTION IS:
Do you know what is the difference between the countries that does the review?!
Every time we upload a new application, it appear a different country.
As the first one took only 4 days, and was reviewed in Luxemburg, we put all the other review to Luxemburg.
Just resubmitted my app. Fixed the Table View issue. I like the solution where the code is in the didViewReload method. This Table issue was only on tables that were in a view with other stuff, rather than a table that takes up the page, those work by default.
