Exactly, I have the same experience. This is really strange. Hopefully we will be selling today.

You can't take the status "In Review" as an indication for anything.
When the iPad launched most Apps went directly (automatically) into state "In Review" after uploading which did not mean that any actual reviewer was looking at your app! And still today it looks like the status doesn't tell you anything for sure:
Actually I had a new iPhone app waiting since August 4th. It was uploaded on Aug 4th and also changed state to "In Review" on the same day. It was "Ready for Sale" today.
I had uploaded another new App on August 6th. This is still in status "Waiting for Review" since then.
Exactly, I have the same experience. This is really strange. Hopefully we will be selling today.

Awesome. My app went into the "In Review" status about an hour after yours did. I don't expect approval in an hour or anything but it's nice to know the process is moving again.
Awesome. My app went into the "In Review" status about an hour after yours did. I don't expect approval in an hour or anything but it's nice to know the process is moving again.
This was the process for my first app:
March 29, 2010 07:29 Waiting for Review
March 30, 2010 09:13 In Review
April 02, 2010 10:59 Pending Contract
April 09, 2010 13:20 Ready for Sale
I happened to be on vacation while the app was being reviewed and didn't check the status until April 9th, then started the Contract and Sale. In essence it only took 5 days from receipt by Apple to Ready for Sale.
The next 2 are much slower:
August 7, 2010 16:29 Upload Received
August 7, 2010 16:29 Waiting for Review
and they remain in "Waiting for Review" today. Do they work on Sundays?

Nice Congrats! I submitted mine 1 day after you and still no in review here. Still waiting for review. :P
I've had an update available through the app store for a couple of days but the iTunes website is not showing a new five star review yet. Darn.
I can see the review in iTunesConnect, so it looks as though there is a time lag before reviews appear on the main US itunes website. Anyone aware of this?
I'm slightly irritated that there is no one way to see all reviews from all countries in a single operation as once the app has sold in say 30 or 40 countries its going to be hellish to look at all the reviews.
Still waiting from August 3rd? I think Apple needs to reveal a little bit of the mystery behind the review process. This is only a display name change! Nothing in the code is any different whatsoever.
Also, noticed that they still haven't fixed the bug causing screen shots to appear in random order when the App store is accessed through iOS4....
Do the reviewers work on Saturdays? Wouldn't like to wait the whole weekend 'In Review'...
also in review since friday 13 at 12:45 pm (-5:00), i think we'll be in review the whole weekend, and i already have an update, i think i'll wait till approval and then send the update... how long is the wait when sending an update for an iPad app??
4 August : Uploaded
4 August : Waiting for Review
13 August : In Review
14 August : Rejected
Reason: "we cannot post this version of your application to the App Store because the term "pad" in the app name may be confusing to users and incorrectly create an association with Apple products."
there are apps with the term "pad" in the store.. so what is the problem???
and, all that time for a rejection because it's name?... c'mon Apple!
now, change the name app, so almost everything, and wait another week for review... that's boring...
As my last post indicated, submitted last Saturday evening, still Waiting for Review at 12:58 CST on Sunday. Maybe tomorrow...
