Getting annoyed with these "will require additional time" emails. That's just a cop out for a pending rejection.
Already was rejected with similar circumstance, so have re-submitted a modified version addressing their concerns.

Now ????
Has anyone had one of these 'extension' emails, and then been approved?
I guess it helped talking about it (only in my mind) as I got my rejection again finally, this time I don't even know WHY (but that's another topic I loathe about the process).
Here are my timings in this case:

February 2, 2010 More time needed
February 05, 2010 08:03 Rejected because of _something_ in the app
I mean in comparison, it's a lot better than when my first app was submitted which was 3 weeks to get from Submit to reject but getting increasingly frustrated after all the effort going into this game.

Yeah loads of craps are filling the Photography total up of 2 pages. But I haven't seen my newly released app though. hmmmm.... it really sucks when this happens.. they just hold up the new releases and then suddenly filling it up after 2-3 days. And our app buried somewhere in btw the spam app. Exposure at new release page is gone down the drain. Great. Just great. Like loooking for a needle in a haystack. Marvellous.
EDIT: ops just saw my app there in the first page, just because the app name starts with a "C". But just take a look at the other spam apps - Swimsuit Amateur Queen, Swimsuit Amateur Women, Swimsuit Amateur Girl. Famous Painting by Leonardo, Famous Painting by MichaelAngelo, Famous Painting by Pierre. bla bla bla.
Same problem here. Approved on the 4th, still not showing up in category.
Search for it, and it shows.
It also shows under my developer name.
And...Lordy, Lordy, Lordy....we sold one!
Echo for that same problem, though approved 1 day after you so not as bad. Other apps are coming up with a release date after mine in my category which is weird (but not so weird in a funny kind of way).

Ours is still not showing.
They must have had a hiccup on their servers the day we were supposed to be listed.

Yes, much like standing in line for 8 hours just to get toilet paper in the old Soviet Union. You expect it.
And with Apple...You always expect some screw up.
And are relieved when things go smoothly for once.
Three updates of three apps. Funny thing, they entered in review at the same time, and they went Ready for Sale with one minute difference each. The first two are a full version and a lite version, the third one is a free app...
