Default Apps Transfer

We were a group of 3 ppl who have developed 2 iphone apps currently in app store. The account was a standard individual account in the name of Person A. However, Person A no longer wants to participate and is willing to sell his Apple Developer account to the Person B(myself) and Person C. Person B and Person C together register a company X and ask Apple to upgrade the account from Standard Individual to Standard Company account in the name of X. After faxing all the documents to Apple and even with the consent of Person A, Apple is not willing to migrate the account simply because Person A is not part of company X. This sounds ridiculous, but that is the way it is.

We thought of a workaround and somebody suggested that we register a new account in name of company X and then get the apps transferred from Person A's account to company X's account. I want to know if migration of apps is possible, and how much time does it take, etc. Also, what is the procedure?

Actually it's not ridiculous. What if it's not true? What if Person A later comes back and claims that you lied and he never intended to sell his part? What if Person A comes back and sues Apple for removing him from the account?

The right way of doing this would be (IMHO):

1. Make Company X and make Persons A, B, and C part of it.
2. Transfer the account from individual to Company X - no questions from Apple.
3. Once everything is done, Person A sells his part and leaves Company X - Apple doesn't care, doesn't know, none of their business what's happening with Company X.
