Ive been watching my rankings go drop, drop, drop, rise, drop, drop... ect, ect, with a steep downward trend.

I just got a good belly laugh when checking my hourly ranking on AppFigures. New entry #1 in Education, #95 Top Overall Paid in Croatia...

The thing that amused me the most is that it was probably 1 download!

Let this thread be about the things that made u smile or laugh. No depressing stuff...

i use majicrank at it is great to have it chart out the rank and then when you get the daily you see that it is only one app that shoots you to the top in the small stores. It happens all the time and its fun to watch.

Yea, that was just one example of something funny. Im aware of what happened and why, its the first time i had a star with a 1 in it on Applyzer .

Anyone else got stories about why you like being a dev?

Do any of you enjoy doing this? These forums are great but there is a majority negative vibe.

Every once in a while my app freeboltz appears on the top 100 in board games in pakistan, from 1 download , it eventually drops off slowly..
Then about a month later it goes back up again
That guy has been word-of-mouth advertising for me very slowly I guess

Haha yeah, its funny to think about the people that have your app around the world.

I think about the one ever sale in Lebanon... Must be using his iphone while dodging missile attacks...

This morning, I got a 1-star review in Germany that was so unreasonable it propelled the app into the top-100 of its category there.

Apple rang me yesterday. After telling me what I was doing wrong - in app purchase points to content that doesn't exist. I sought clarification -- what do you mean? Which app is this?. That's not my application. Oh, are you in Thailand?. No. Oh.
