Default How appstore test 'application with local server' ?

I am developing an application, which is targeted to the costumers of a shopping mall. The application installed in the customer's iPhone, will communicate with a "local server" in the mall(via wifi) and update him/her with various producats&offers. I am in the final stage of development and planning to submit the application for AppStore approval, once I complete dev. and testing.

I understand that, AppStore will test the application, when we submit it for approval. In many occasions my application communicates with the local server to get data from it. I would like to know, how they will test my application, without running the server?

they arent going to like it.....Ive seen other people with similar problems, you will be stuck in review forever...

i would have setup another server that is accessible and is just like the mall server...

then put code like this:

if mall-server available
use mall server data
else if
alternate server active // ie: put a flag on if to use it, once apple review over, leave it set to off

use alternate server data

else
do whatever you do if mall server not available

so basically, it will use the mall server else the test server if you want it to, and finally default to whatever you do when no server available.

then apple can test using the test server, change the flag on the test server so it never gets used once its approved.
