Arrow The Official USA Bank Guide

Hello All,

I would like to start a thread to help developers that want to make sure they choose the right bank (Since Apple is very unorganized with their payments).

This will help to choose a bank that Apple has made payments to in the past.

So please list the bank you use, your success rate on payments and that bank's Incoming Wire Fees.

I use San Diego County Credit Union, which is obviously San Diego Local. I have not released my app yet, however, I will let you know as soon as I receive payments to the account. They offer FREE incoming wire fees both Foreign and Domestic.

I use Wells Fargo. Never missed a payment since 4 months ago. $10 incoming wire fees.

From what I hear, people are having trouble with WAMU/Chase accounts and receiving their payments.

I second this. I am having problems with the whole WAMU / Chase swift code. Apple emailed me a few days ago to ensure that it would be all fixed for the next pay period. Who knows anymore though...

As banks consolidate to lower costs, the days of George Bailey behind the counter at a small bank in Bedford Falls are less and less common. Small community banks do still exist, but if you live in an urban area, you may be limited to a choice of big banks, and even if you’re in a small town, you’ll find a tradeoff between the personalized service of small banks and the convenience of big-bank ATM cards. I use citi and once the money started coming it has been ok. I had to correspond by email to apple to get the routing stuff correct. They have to send it to the NY bank and then forward it.

$10 incoming wire fee.

and apple sends me any amount, they seem to ignore their $250 minimum. Costing me extra because of it.

Another Wells Fargo customer here. No complaints so far. Also $10 incoming wire fee though sometimes I'm not charged the fee?

My Chase account (it used to be WaMu) is now getting all payments except Australia. Apple emailed me and they said they are still having problems. They owe me about 4 months worth of money. They are working on it.

But now I am getting a $15 wire fee instead of $10. BOOO.

Apple finally told me a couple weeks ago to switch banks, as the WaMu stuff was being completely unreliable. It would work one month, and then not the next. I switched to US Bank, and a week later got six months worth of European payments with no problems.
