Wow, that is really taking the low road. I'm not so concerned about this one guy, but... what if the tactic works, or is even perceived to work? Can you imagine the mess this will create?

The ugly truth is that if this little stunt gets noticed and reported by the press, vivanaranha might profit by it after all, and others will give it a try. Remember the sudden rush to create flatulence apps when that hit the press?

Interesting days may be ahead for the App Store, I think.

UPDATE: By the evening of July 9 the app name changed to Reversi 1. I wonder whether the developer had an attack of conscience or Apple took action.

Not content with fooling the masses with iOthello, he released it as 'Reversi Extended' too, which is exactly the same game, just with a different name and icon.

Dude just forget about other Apps in the store and code. If your App is truly awesome it will Market itself. And YES some developers doesn't have morals regarding lots of things, it's a fact like any business where money is involved. Best thing to do is to ignore everyone and just concentrate on your Apps because it's really useless to spend time checking other Apps.

It's good although to check the reviews on the competitors Apps to see what's the weak and the strong points in their Apps, that really helps in improving your own Apps.

Chill out buddy and remember that it's all about your Apps in the end and about developing something people will love.

Well... another scammer on the App store.
uDrummer.... over night they jumped up like hell in the music section
with suddenly 121 five stars! Only 14 written reviews
and 50% bad ones. The others by the creators themselfs

Same strategy as the other Korean scam company Orientmaple I guess.


Im getting really angered by the review system. It doesnt fill its
purpose like its supposed to do.
