Default Sole Trader registering as a company.

I guess this mostly applies to the UK and Republic of Ireland, where this form of business is common:
Can someone operating as a Sole Trader with a registered Business Name enroll to the Dev Program as a cmpany? What documents would be accepted by Apple in such case?

In case anyone seeks this info: Business Name Certificate from CRO - Home is all you need for Republic of Ireland. It is €20 online from CRO - Home

Hi, thanks for the info. I am in the same situation only based in the UK. I will have to find the UK equivalent.

Did Apple accept this type of company registration? They are asking me for a certificate of incorporation.

Thanks

JT

Yes business name was all they needed. I was a bit surprised because BNC only states you have registered a name, not a company.

I'm not sure I can do this in the UK??? Any advise from anybody else would be good.

Private Limited Company looks my best bet but I would rather stay as a sole trader if I can.
