Anyone else *not* paid for January yet?
Its now more than 45 days since the end of January and we've only received half our payments - missing about $6000.
After 3 calls to Apple - I finally got through, only to be told that the itunes people responsible can ONLY be contacted by email and it usually takes several days for them to reply.
Seems like a pretty relaxed way to deal with money? I would have thought 45 days was quite long enough to get a simple wire sorted out!
Maybe they should outsource their payment system?

They do outsource their payment system - and the response you will get is "if you don't get it this month, you'll get it next month" - not ideal, I know..
I too have only received part of what I am due if that makes you feel better (I'm sure it doesn't)..

I'd suggest emailing them - I've done this in the past, and they do get back to you - although they take a couple of days.
Just be nice ;-)

So far it has taken me 5 days to NOT get a response regarding around $8000 that is missing from my January payments - under the contract Apple should have paid within 45 days...
I've emailed daily for the last 4 days
I've called the Australian office of Apple, and told to email the iTunes people.
I've waited on hold for a total of 105 minutes in 3 separate calls to get through to the US office of Apple, to be told I need to email the iTunes people. They would "escalate" it though - yeah right.
I am yet to hear where the money is...
I emailed them 16 days ago to make a small change to some company info - with no response...
How long should I expect to wait?

I think we should write an open letter to Apple about us developers not getting payed, and not even get a response when we ask about it. This is totally redicolous!

I'm missing a bunch of money and am getting annoyed at Apple's nonchalant attitude towards it...
Doesn't seem like much we can due save sue for breach of contract.... at least its good to know there are others missing money so more than likely it is just them being behind schedule and not a specific problem with my account.

This is becoming very, but very intriguing... a lot of success histories and buzz, but the truth is this
WHERE THE HELL IS OUR MONEY?
And besides that they're retaining the payment FOR MONTHS!!! (no interest is going to be paid with more than 4 MONTHS in some cases for thousands of $$$)...
What's the deal? And the most irritating thing is that no one in apple make an statement about the delay... I'm thinking that itunes payments was working for a moment but now is a black hole...

I think someone in the media should get to know about this. That may get Apple to pull their hands out of the *** and fix this.

Yes - it has been long enough for Apple to fix this on their own, time they were prodded!
They don't answer emails. Phone calls to the dev call center result in "I can't help you but I'll escalate that" BS... Generally VERY poor service.
The contract says 45 days, we're owed about AUD$130,000 for february and I'm nervous about that now - lack of cashflow is killing our business.
We're owed about AUD$8000 from January, or we were, unfortunately the Yen/AUD exchange rate has killed this by about 12% since the 45 day contracted payment time.

Just think of all the INTEREST Apple makes with stunts like this. I *think* the interest on 1 million is about 149 bucks a day, so when you factor in the amount of money owed, the amount they make as it sits in the bank is substantial.

seems there are quite a few people in the same situation
wonder if apple will hire some people to answer the phone now?
