In our case, our apps suddenly (as of this morning) aren't visible at ALL in charts or search on mobile or iTunes. They still seem to EXIST on the App Store, as here's our publisher page...
...but they aren't being displayed in listings. We had three of the Top 25 Paid Books yesterday, now we're not on the chart at all. And searching "keenspot" used to bring up our app listings, now it displays no results.

Check your release date on ITC. Make sure it wasn't shifted into the future somehow.
well, nevermind, i actually just now got my app approved ('ready for sale'). i guess that means i'm totally screwed
Not totally Neo, even though its more delayed then it used to be you should still see the App appear in the PC/Mac version of iTunes ok, I attribute the sales I've had this week to that part working, just be nice to see the iPhone App release date working again, hopefully someone will receive notification from Apple that this is a problem and will be fixed soon, my fear is it's a version related issue and we will have to wait until a new update for any hope of this issue being resolved.
The guys with apps that are on the top of these static lists must be laughing all the way to the bank, well at least some will be happy
Maybe you guys are wrong with the release date changes? It looks like the release date for my app coincides with the most recent update. This could be it since they have a new ratings system depending on version of app as well.

Release a new update to your app. You'll see that it won't get bumped to the top, even if you change the release date to today.
Something is broken. MANY people are reporting this.
I have over 50 apps on the store so I know it's not working. I have been doing this since July.

Open up your iPhone Ap Store, goto any category-> Release Date and check the release date of each app and then tell me the order is correct.
The release dates on the actual apps are not being questioned, its the order of the list under 'Release Date' this is wrong.

Yeah, I've seen this myself (and also verified the issue on the devices), but I can't help but think a majority of sells come from people shopping from their iPhones and iPods
So basically, we're not totally screwed, just mostly screwed
LOL... I just accepted the amendment on my contract and all my apps disappeared from the store as well.
I have no idea what to do now except wait it out until enough people complain.
Same here..
EVERYBODY LISTEN
*** DO NOT ACCEPT THE CONTRACT AMENDMENT ***
Your apps will remain available for sale but will not be listed anywhere in the app store. Not in their respective categories, most recent or top x categories. in other words, it will become effectively invisible.
I made this change almost 24 hours ago and my apps are still missing. I'm sure my sales will be zero tomorrow.

How long after accepting the contract amendment do your apps disappear? I accepted about an hour ago and my app is still visible.
What's the name of your app? It may be cached on your phone. I first noticed the apps were gone a couple hours after making the change.
My app is called iYacht, it should be listed under Gamesice. I was using iTunes to look and doing the "paste link into browser and add extra variable" trick to force a refresh.
So that's what happened, my app disappeared also after i accepted the emendment contract.
Now going to itunesconnect my paid contracts effect date is 18th March...

I was able to find your app using search. Hopefully you avoided this issue.
When does the amendment prompt happen? I haven't seen it yet.
Edit: I just noticed that this thread is being quoted left and right on the apple dev forums ... I seem to have a knack for unwittingly starting revolutions lol

Thanks for looking. I sure hope I avoided the issue. I feel bad for anyone who hasn't, especially those who depend on these sales. For me, it's just a hobby in my spare time. But, my app is so new that I'm still in the early/exciting stage of watching it climb it's way out of the cellar.

Under "Contracts, Tax, & Banking Information" in iTunes Connect you should see a checkbox with text that says something along the lines of 'Request Amendment to Contract'
