We should also flood them with phone calls here: 1-800-633-2152
I've been back and forth with them over the past few days. It's really frustrating because almost every time I call, despite them having my case information on file, they seem to have no idea what I am talking about and keep telling me the app store is just dandy. Finally I made the lady take out her phone and I walked her through the issue; now they are taking me seriously; I suggest you all do the same and implore that they do something in the aftermath (like move all our release dates up after the fix).
I called and they didn't seem to have heard of this before. I sent an email to itunesconnect@apple.com and if/when I get a response I'll post what they say here. I suggest others do the same. We need this issue on their radar.

Who knows.. it might be because of the 3.0 Beta stuff today... if there is still a major problem by tomorrow then I am going to start freaking out on Apple here.
This really stinks! I know this is seriously effecting alot of developers but it's killing me. I waited a month and a half for app approval only to get it and have my app devoured by this little FUBAR!
Uncool Apple.
You can see on the apple dev forum that many people have filed bug reports. I hope we see a fix soon.
Every time I call them back, even when I get the same lady I've talked to before; the first 5 minutes of the conversation is basically them telling me that everything is fine and that I'm delusional; then I convince them that the issue is real; then they say they'll pass it to the higher ups and I will get a call back; then nothing. I'm starting to get a little pissed off and sorry to say I'm starting to take it out on these phone people; even though I know it's not their direct fault.
I just wish Apple would understand that people wouldn't get pissed if you just shoot straight with them, and that no one likes being given the misinformed stock answers that everything is cool. At one point in a conversation it was like this:
Me: Were you aware of this issue.
Apple person: No
---5 seconds later---
Apple Person: We have been working diligently to address this problem
Me: I thought you just told me that you were unaware of any issue and that the store was fine?
Apple Person: err.....
I submitted a bug report, too. I am about to release my biggest app and I am trying to hold off just a little longer to see if they can resolve this. It really kills us when so much of our revenue comes from that first exposure.
I'm really mad now!
My app just disappeared from some stores.
If i click Top Paid Sports apps it just disappeared from that list, but it shows on the left screen before i click it.
What's the email address so that i can contact apple?
Grrrrr...
I called them again today and they put me on hold for almost an hour. I hung up and called again at a different number and got the same treatment. They have always gotten to my call within 2 minutes in the past, even when they are swamped.
In addition they have pulled the apple devforums (which was filling up with posts about the broken app store) down for "maintenance".
I think it is clear what these things taken together mean; Apple is basically just hiding from us instead of showing some balls and addressing the issue and manning up to the fact that they have made a serious error. Don't get me wrong, Apple, I am very gratefully for the opportunity developing on the iphone provides....but this sort of behavior just disgusts me.

I have started submitting this story and all threads related to this to the Mac news sites. This needs to get Apple's attention. I suggest you do the same if you can't seem to get answers on the phone. Let's get Apple's attention on this one.

Ethan
Sounds like a positive move Ethan, I just got a reply from iTunes Connect asking me if I was still seeing this error in the Release Date listings
What worries me about this is that all you need to do to check this out is to look at the App Store on the iPhone, starting to get that banging your head against a brick wall feeling
Just wondering if this issue is world wide, might be worth doing a quick check for everyone who reads this thread could state what country they are seeing this issue, for me it's UK, also if anyone is not having a prob could they please state this.

I just emailed itunesconnect@apple.com, thanks for the advice, and i suggest you all do the same. I have had good luck through them before.
I am in Seattle, WA USA by the way, so I think this may be a worldwide issue.
Also, I have almost 50 apps on the App Store and make $9k-$14k/month, and it's really hurting my month of March, so this is definitely a big deal to me.

Ethan
Yes mines down by 50% by my current estimations although it's more of a fun spare time thing for me its still anoying. 50 Apps, blimey, what's your main site Ethan.
My apps also disappeared from the App Store all of a sudden this morning. I've been on hold with ADC for about an hour so far.
ARGH.
Mine is on the store, but when I scroll through the top 100 of the business seciton I'm not showing up. I should be around 50 or so. I have noticed a few times that if I am right on the cut off between 25-50 and 51-75 sometimes apps disappear. ARGH
While this is a big issue, which really hurts everyone, there's another major bug since the update. When you enter app's page, you see 3 review. They used to be "most helpful" ones, now they are just random. We are so lucky, so it's showing one crappy "offtopic" review "add me to mafia" and another random 1-star (while the average rating is 4.5/4 stars) review with no users clicked helpful at all.
so how long this will continue to be a problem? anyone :S?
I think this is a question everyone wants answered and no one can answer... I think the only answer right now is: "It will continue to be a problem until it gets resolved"
