Anyone receive their iTunes financial reports for February yet?
Normally I have received my monthly financial report for the prior month sometime between the 5th and 11th of the current month. I have yet to receive my monthly financial report for February? Has anyone received their financial reports for February yet or is iTunes staff running behind schedule a bit? Any knowledge on this would be much appreciated.
I don't have mine either. I wouldn't be surprised if they're running a little behind; they rolled out iTunes 8.1 last night, so maybe that accounts for a little bit of the delay.
February is my first recorded revenue. God I can't wait for it either!

And there is some good news. Luckily for February the weeks lined up less one days within the month. Our weekly trends start on 2/2/09 and end on 3/1/09 for those 4 weeks. If you total up the sales from there, you will get a pretty darn close figure to what your actual financial reports will say.
Nonetheless, Apple needs to get this resolved. They get plenty enough of a cut of our sales to put the proper team on making sure the reports get generated and set out in a timely manner.
Hmmm yes, I wonder if it's something to do with the iPhone OS 3.0 stuff happening tomorrow... I wonder if things are delayed and there'll be announcements about something interesting about to happen...
I certainly hope they don't raise the price - it has enabled me to get into iPhone programming and I don't think my Subnet Calc / Subnet Calc Pro is part of the cruft which I assume you are referring to...
I am mostly referring to the fart, gun, and auto-dialer apps. I think people would be less willing to enter the iPhone market at a $999 fee, especially if they are making those types of applications.
Yes, but so too would people be less willing, like me who started off as a hobby and then the $99 (well, £59) was just about the right amount to pay. If I had to pay $999 per year, then I would definitely not have started iPhone app development.
I think Apple have done really well to make it accessible by so many people. The solution to reducing the amount of cruft is not to make it more expensive. I don't know the solution however...
