I dont understand how some of you have you financial reports, and yet I have none. Wouldn't Apple just send them all out at once. Every day that goes by I get more and more nervous that I won't get paid.
They used to pay so consistently... I don't understand what happened! It's like at the end of 2008 it all fell apart.

I am in the same situation. Apple owes me payments from December 2008, January 2009, and February 2009. However, I have been getting financial reports and used to always get payments very promptly. Apple doesn't seem to respond to my emails and they owe me almost $25000 over the three months.
I just wish there was a number I could call, I am really starting to get tired of this waiting game

Call an attorney. There are a lot of damages involved especially when $25,000 is involved. They clearly breached their contract and the 45 days. You do have a case and I think even the threat of a class action suit could straighten Apple out. It would be far less costly to hire a couple extra people to work in their finance department and avoid the multi-million class action suit.

I'm owed a load of money also. Sadly I think it is time for the lawyers.
I've made every effort to play nice ball. Not even an autoreply to my emails. I've received one payment for one region of many owed so my banking details are clearly fine.
I have a house, mortgage, kids etc and Apple now owe me 1,000's.

Has anyone on this site (who Apple owes money) actually received a message from Apple saying why payments have been delayed.
Their customer service is atrocious, all I ask for is a simple email saying "We apologize but this is the reason why your payments have been delayed"....is that really soo hard??

No. Nothing. Nothing at all.
I've contacted them but I received nothing.
Frankly I'm amazed this isn't a big story in the news. Surely in this day and age of the internet a massive company like this can't get away with treating their customers (business partners really) with such contempt.
All I'd like is the money I am owed or even a polite note saying why I haven't been paid and I'll be happy (delighted) to fix whatever that may be.

Still they didn't stick to it and haven't replied to me e-mails asking why. Still waiting on feb payments never mind march. And it is April 30th! I'm sure there are a lot of developers that could take them to court over this. (not march though as they are still within 45days)

And I'm realizing that this is a technique of itunes payments.... Checkout the thread of "Please Stop Emailing us"... check the history... they're stating that they'll fix whatever in the next x days, and the pay will come... and go on and on... and have passed 4 months in this way...!!

I opened a thread about possible legal action... ideas, or if any lawyer sees this as a big opportunity...I'm seeing in this forum and mac rumors some devs in the same situation (and I think a lot of devs keep silence 'cause they're afraid to loose something or because they're lucky enough to be paid on time)...

Now it will be interesting if Apple starts sending payments out in May, launching the conspiracy theory (the end of April is the end of their first quarter of 2009, so by holding all this money Apple is making a lot off of the interest) and making their shareholders happy and also driving up the value of their stock...all because they are screwing us over and holding payments.......what do you guys think

In my company, for example, they removed half the light bulbs, and did other silly little things to make the trimester results look better, so I would not be surprised if apple was retaining money for their shareholders, but that can't be sure, and they also may not have hired enough people to treat the problem.
I just received my March europe financial report, and a new couple of lines have been added. They added a C/FWD amount, which corresponds to what they did not pay to me (yet), an EARNED amount, which corresponds to what I earned in march, a TAX amount, which is likely to prove they did receive my letter with the form for the IRS, since it is set to 0%, and a PMT amount, which is the sum of C/FWD and EARNED. I cannot be sure what PMT means, perhaps something like "Previous Months transfer" or something, is anyone is an expert on US accountig? Hopefully, the PMT amount will be what will (soon?) be transfered.
