Remote Control App :: Testers wanted
Hi everyone,
I'm currently working on an iOS project that let's you control your sat/cable receiver that has a yWeb or Web-If web-interface by using your iOS device. It's not the usual App that shows some buttons or a picture of the original remote control ;-)
What you need
- A device running iOS (iPhone/iPod Touch, iPad maybe later)
- A sat/cable receiver with yWeb/Web-If or a KATHRINE UFS 912 or 922 receiver
- Some time
What you will be doing
I'll provide you the latest beta version to test, all you have to do is checking if everything is working and give feedback about the operational concept. If you have any ideas about how the App could be improved, I will also listen to this feedback and we can discuss it. I'll also send you some test scenarios so you don't have to figure this out. You just complete those scenarios and give feedback if it worked as expected.
What I can offer
As often with this kind of projects, I can't offer you money. All I can give you is to name you in the credits. The App is planned to be released for free so there will also be no revenue sharing. But if I decide to price this App at, let's say, .99$, I'll hand out promotional codes to you that you and your friends can use.
