Default Calcuccino programmers' calculator for iPhone - v2.0 beta

Hi guys,

Calcuccino is now at version 2.0, beta 1:

www.calcuccino.com

We're looking for more iPhone developers now to help test this beta. If you use your iPhone as a calculator during development then we'd love you to try this beta and see what you think. We'd welcome any feedback on improvements or missing features either for later betas, or for future releases. This is a calculator for developers - you - so if you're missing something, let us know!

Changes since Calcuccino 1.1:
  • Changing between programmer (integer) and scientific (floating point) maths is now done with a UISegmentedControl on the main navigation bar. This is much faster and more obvious than the previous method of using the menus / favourites buttons.
  • Added support for conversion between IEEE-754 float/double floating point values and their raw data types. If you need to deal with floating point numbers at the binary data level, this is ideal. This was our most requested feature by far.

If you'd like to give Calcuccino 2.0 beta a spin, please send a message from:

www.calcuccino.com/support

along with your device's UDID and we'll get you added to the beta programme. You need any iOS device with iOS 3.1.3 or later.

Best regards,
