Publishing my App for Testing

I signed up for the iPhone Developer Program as an Individual, which means I cannot add team members. Does this preclude me from publishing my application for testing? The apple documentation seems vague to me.

This does not preclude you from publishing for "Ad hoc" testing, as you do not sign up team members for testing (only development certificates). You must register devices for ad hoc testing, and you can register up to 100. To register a device, you need the hardware's serial ID. After registering devices, you create an "Ad Hoc" provision file that allows you to build your application.
