When I first signed up the Swift Code gave me problems as well. I did not even know what the code was. Most national and regional banks should have a code. Local and credit unions probably will not. I know Citibank, Chase, Bank of America, BB&T, and Wells Fargo have swift codes. I also think all charge $15. Citibank does have free transfers if you have a securities account with them but the normal checking accounts will have the fee.
