Now, my app is compiled for SDK 2.1, so that part I understand. But when I scroll down the page, I find that the Device field is already set to iPhone and iPod touch. Only it's plain text and not in a pull down. So I can't figure out how I'm supposed to refresh or change the value that the error is complaining about.

I just got this exact same problem, but only on one of the apps I got updated today. Also check your categories, as mine are screwed up, and I have no way to correct them. Worse, I emailed via the contact forms, and immediately got a returned mail because the "relay access" was denied. Something is screwy at Apple today....
