This is my first visit to this area (Union Square) in San Francisco. I'm staying at the Parc 55. I'm from Boston. Does anyone else feel that this area of the city is underprotected? I barely see any police. I'm constantly asked for money (at least 3 times everyday on my way to the Moscone Center) and today I thought I was going to get jumped. The guy snuck up behind me and kept asking me for money. When I told him I didn't have any cash, he asked me if I could go to an ATM. I really don't want to be here anymore.
The conference is great but maybe I will just order the videos next year.
