Since there are so many parties and gatherings already filling up every available hour in the evenings, why not organize a meetup within one of these events? sfMacIndie on Sunday looks like a good candidate since it'll give people a chance to meet each other before the conference begins and coordinate activities for the rest of the week. Just establish a meeting spot within Jillian's--someone can wear an identifying shirt, print a table placard, or tweet the location. I'd offer to host but I have other things going on that day and don't know what time I'll make it there.
