I submitted a NEW app, and an update to an existing app, 7 days ago. Approved today.
Day 1) Update and app submitted.

Day 6) Apple takes a peek at both (within about 2 minutes of each other, from the same device-id).
Day 7) Apple takes a second peek at one of them... A few hours later -- both are approved.
