Smile changing text size, View based application text field + buttons

I'm having trouble changing text size, I am a new user of macs and the SDK, I made a View based application, I added a text field and a button, but how do we change the size of the text in the button and the text field, Ive been clicking on everything and it doesn't change the size,

What I did was open the inspector, I can see
clear when editing begins, that's ticked

Adjust to fit
That's ticked.

Then we have min size and a box with the text size one presumes, well altering that doesn't change the text size at all.

I also notice further down we have a view, mode scale to fill, not sure whats that's for.

How do, change the text size? I would of thought the min size box did that.

Part of the problem is I'm a windows user, so macs are new to me, so one will make stupid mistakes as the way of doing things is a bit different, so Ive probably not done something very minor that makes it work.
