Your apps will remain available for sale but will not be listed anywhere in the app store. Not in their respective categories, most recent or top x categories. in other words, it will become effectively invisible.
I made this change almost 24 hours ago and my apps are still missing. I'm sure my sales will be zero tomorrow.
