Just navigate to the directory you want to put the source in Terminal, and then type the command as it appears on the project's page. There's not a whole lot to it.

Yeah, but I didn't buy a Mac so I can sit there typing in a little terminal window! I likes 'teh shiny" as some of the less articulate out there might call it
Plus I figure if he doesn't know how to download or what SVN is he'd be better served with a GUI anyway...
