So it's not a question of whether its possible, but if google has a web service to utilize.

From my reading it says that Mac does have this ability. Whether thats true I have no idea.
But, since google is using thier server to relay the data collected, then it's much easier to use Microsoft tools.
Unless google offers a free web service to use.
I'm sure the quality will be lacking tho.
