I've got a good one: we have had an app in review since October 2nd. We tried resubmitting a new one with a different name but it didn't work. We have been in contact with a so-called manager at Apple whom we call every 24 hours for a status update. There is a story that hit digg about our app:
Digg - iPhone Developr Spends 500k Goes 75 Days, No Word from Apple We've got a website (
Newber Home | The First Location-Aware Business Number for the iPhone) up and ready to go. We have a booth at Mac World and a booth at CES for the application...but we have no application. Our server logs show that Apple hasn't even tested it yet. The so-called manager we call every day claims to not have the power to do anything about the situation or to get us the ability to talk to someone who does.
Because of all this I came into work about a week ago and someone came over and dropped a BlackBerry on my desk and gave me a deadline of CES to have the application ported. Apple really has to get with it and either reject the app or let it in. **** or get off the pot is what they say, I believe.
