The only site to respond at all was iphonegamenetwork.com. They said they would write a review, but nothing yet. That was 5 days ago. I guess I should be patient... not sure how to get the other sites to review me.

Following up from my post (I sent iphonegamesnetwork.com an ad-hoc version 15th September) they've put a review up today of my game:

It took a while for them to get around to review it (nearly a month) but it is a glowing review and it's thorough, so I'm more than happy that they finally got around to it

Yes, I'm in the same boat with appstoreapps.com (I sent Paypal money for them to buy it). I've had several emails from them saying that they were recording a video review, that it would be up at such and such a time, and nothing. I haven't contacted them again since the last time they said it was going up (that was 23rd September) and have given that up. I won't be sending them Paypal for review copies again in the future.
