Definitely I don't ask anything from you. Because it's your idea and your blog.
I'm just doing this as an experiment in my spare time, I don't really think small promotions will spike the sales. I had tried every type of promotions besides "spending advertising cost, building a fancy website with cool video of how the app works".
Until I could make a more mainstream app or something in the level of Tweetie, I doubt I could witness good sales from small promotions.
