I think it all depends on where you live. Give someone living in Africa one US dollar and will be able to buy himself food for several days, give that same dollar to someone living in eg London and he won't be able to buy himself a lollypop. Earning $65K a year may not seem much to some of you but it would mean instant wealth to a lot of other developers living in other less prosperous parts of the world.
