Default Determine if a phone is a mobile or landline number...?

Hello,

Does anybody knows... if there is a way to determine if a phone is a 'mobile number' or a 'landline number' ???

I know.. iPhone's Contacts app, allows you to set the 'Mobile' number for a specific contact.

The issue i'm dealing with, is that you could also add a new phone field. Let's say... i add 'Palm Treo', with a mobile number.

Programatically, there is no way to know if that given field is mobile or not.

So... is there any algorithm, database, or something to check this out?

THANKS!!!
