No offense, but while I own a Macbook Pro to do my development, my associates do not and we use Snow Leopard running on Dell Latitudes to build some aspects of our applications. These Dells run Snow Leopard very well and make my Macbook Pro not seem near as powerful as it used to be, comparison wise. As far as I'm aware of, there shouldn't be an issue running the SDK on a Virtual Machine as long as it's properly configured.
