I received mine at 8:23 PM last night for an updated app and it is still not on the first page of release date in it's category (Healthcare and Fitness).

Just got them 2 hours ago and they have shown up on the new release. These are new apps. I have over 40 apps in the store and they always get sent in without modifying the release date field they always get placed in the store dated on the submission date not the release date. This time even in itunes connect the app shows as today as the release. It automatically updated the date from submission to today's date. So they have fixed that little issue i have had. I have 12 updates pending when they get posted i will keep and eye out to see what they do.
