Don't worry about feeling lost right now, we all are or were at that point sometime. First, you should think about what you want to do....something basic, like pressing a button to load a different screen (or View). Once you decide that, then post for help. In the meantime, a RootViewController, is the "parent" (I assume you could call it), that manages the window and views underneath it. Just think of it as a folder that can have code written on it, and inside the folder are the views (or 'screens'). This may not make much sense, but as you play around you will start to understand more. If you want me to help you out with pics and other things, let me PM you and you can ask more questions from there.
