Yeah, I think the Japanese culture makes it difficult for most apps that fare well in the US to be accepted by them. But they definitely like their RPGs! They have been my second strongest sales country besides the USA... Fortunately you can do pretty well in Rogue Touch with minimal reading if you're careful, so that helped, and continues to help sell it now. At that point in time and lofty position in the Japanese rankings it was good for a little over $100 a day
