This all happened during a week that I was featured by Apple, had a big update approved, and held my one and only 99 cent sale (the rest of the time I've been steady at $2.99). Pent up demand from app-snipers looking for a sale may have helped add fuel to the fire. Once the feature moved to page 2, and I slid down in the recent releases, and ended my sale things tumbled back to earth quickly.
Tough competition out there. Needless to say, I never got rich, but I learned a lot and am re-investing profits from it into my next few games in the design stages. If all goes well these are going to go WAY beyond Rogue Touch. Maybe I will get to be the king of a tiny corner of the App Store again someday

Wow, the differences between the US app store and the Japanese counterpart are really opaque, haha. Did you do good on sales from Japan? I've heard tales that it's virtually impossible to crack Japan in terms of making good sales. Just on here alone I've seem many stories of people who were making a killing stateside but couldn't even break the $250 limit for Japan. I assume the language barrier is a big hurdle, but RPGs seem to be universal.
