I don't want to be the booh man here, but for me it looks like a new unnecessary spamming platform, where everybody shoots and nobody reads... like Twitter and Facebook.
I think, I will wait and see.
I also don't know, how it would help indie developers to promote their apps. As I understand, I have to pay a fix ammount of money just for people shouting about it. What if my app doesn't sell? No thanks. I don't pay for people I don't know, just because they spam about my app for a reward.
Maybe I am wrong, but I have searched the site and there is no really detailed explanation, how it works on the seller's side... What are the pros for me (and maybe contras?), what is my reward? Why do they think that I get a reward and what they think how I get that reward? I mean as a product owner. What's the concept behind it? No clue...
They focus on convince the users, but not the product owners.
