Posting an app update
Hi,
Has any one successfully sent in an app update? I realize there are many who haven't been accepted into the program yet, and I'm sorry.
I have an app that is on the App store (thankfully) but I went to update it last night with a new version, and I can't get the new version to be accepted. It either says in the Upload form that the app failed to pass the codesign, or using the Application Loader it went through successfully but is still stuck at "Waiting for Upload". I used the same Distribution provision profile too and same process.
The bad thing is, I had heard that the previous version of the app would remain available for download until the new version comes online. Well users have said that they can't download my app because it says it is currently being modified. This is a real problem they need to fix fast.
Also the meta data for my new update (screenshots, description) is being shown for the old version in the meantime, which doesn't even match.
Apple has some real bugs to fix on this update process from my viewpoint.
